Despite the negative press around antigen tests recently, Professor of Microbial Diseases with UCD, Dr. Paddy Mallon still believes they can play a key role in the fight against Covid-19 - if used correctly. He told Gavan how they can reduce risk in certain settings.

As well as that, he explained which variants of concern are present in Ireland at the moment. And, to what extent.
