The Big Sleep Out is taking place in 52 locations across the globe this weekend to combat global homelessness.
People are being encouraged to join sleep out events in their local cities or organise their own, all with the aim of raising €45,000,000 for the homeless around the world.
Ciara Doherty was joined by David Carroll, Chief Executive of cross-border charity Depaul to discuss the initiative further.
