Garda Commissioner Drew Harrris said on Friday that the Gardai “does not differ” from the assessment of the PSNI that the Provisional Army Council still oversees both Sinn Féin and the IRA. On the other hand, Mary Lou McDonald has said the 'IRA' has gone away and dismissed Harris' comments.
