The past two weeks have seen storms and floods cause havoc for communities across West Cork, along with Limerick, the North, and other parts of the country.

So why, after all the investment in flood defenses, is this still happening and what can be done to prevent it in the future? Shane Beatty was joined by Professor Mary Bourke, an expert on flood risk and management at Trinity College Dublin's Department of Geography.
