People are being urged to abide by water safety rules this bank holiday weekend.
It comes as more than 40 beach-goers in Co Clare had to be rescued by surf instructors last Sunday.

Clare County Council has now decided to bring forward its full-time lifeguard service which will begin from this weekend.
Our reporter Josh Crosbie visited Lahinch to speak to those who were involved in the rescues.
