Medicines for Ireland, a group representing Ireland's generic, biosimilar and value-added medicines sector, are claiming that the Government is overspending millions a year on big brand medicines, despite cheaper generic brands being available. 

Owen McKeon, Chair of Medicines for Ireland and Darragh Connolly, President of the Irish Pharmacy Union join Pat to discuss the two medical options.
