Meabh Feerick from Ballinrobe in County Mayo had been enjoying life in Australia, where she worked as a bar manager while raising her son Noah. However, Meabh’s world was turned upside down last December when she was diagnosed with incurable Stage 4 melanoma. At 25-years of age, Meabh moved back to Ireland with her three-year-old son so that she could spend her final few months with her family and friends. However, she says she has ‘shortened her life’ by coming home to the Irish health system. Meabh Feerick joined Anton on the show this morning.
