The Taoiseach is in Paris today for a convention on tackling terrorism and extremists online - a convention New Zealand premier Jacinda Ardern has also been attending.

They have signed the ‘Christchurch Call’.  This is a pledge from tech companies to agree to improve their moderation processes and share more information about the work they’re doing to prevent terrorist content from going viral - while at the same time, governments are agreeing to work on laws that ban toxic content from social networks.

Have the Christchurch attacks served as a wake up call to the whole world to get serious about online terrorism?

Lucinda Creighton is the CEO of Vulcan Consulting is in Brussels, and has been keeping tabs on what’s been happening over in Paris.

After that, Ivan spoke with Adam Hadley, Director of the Tech Against Terrorism Project initiative, who has been working behind the scenes with many global experts and Government leaders on this issue.
