'The Government is not thinking creatively' - Ireland facing shortage of asylum accommodation

In a statement this afternoon, a spokesperson for the Department of Integration has said that it can no longer provide accommodation to all international protection applicants, due to a severe shortage.  They have said that tents and sleeping bags will be provided to people where required.  Kieran was joined by Teresa Buczkowska is a migrant rights expert, and formerly of the Immigrant Council of Ireland and Enda O’Neill, Head of Office at the UNHCR Ireland …
