Department of Education inspectors have expressed concern over the quality of teaching and learning through Irish at both primary and secondary level. 

The reports states Irish suffered disproportionately to other subjects during the pandemic and Kieran was joined on The Hard Shoulder by Julian De Spain of Conradh na Gaeilge and Peter Kavanagh Mayor of South Dublin County Council and co-founder of Pop Up Gaeltacht to hear their reaction…
