It’s National Breastfeeding Week, and Michael D and Sabina Higgins have been making keynote addresses on a webinar to mark the week.

With around two thirds of mothers breastfeeding, the rates in Ireland are amongst the lowest in the world.

Kieran was joined by Mary Brosnan, Director of midwifery and nursing at Holles Street and Sinead Kelly, Friends of Breastfeeding’s Mum2Mum National Coordinator.
