A former advisor to Tony Blair has expressed his dismay at the rioting in Northern Ireland.

Lord Andrew Adonis was an advisor to Tony Blair during the negotiations for the Good Friday Agreement, and he has been raising concerns about the lack of attention to Northern Ireland by successive Prime Ministers in Westminster.

He says Unionist extremism is as a result of this neglect by the political and administrative leadership.
