Locals in Cherry Orchard in West Dublin have been reacting after a Garda patrol car was rammed by joyriders in the area last night.

Video footage shows a group of people cheering when a joyrider collides with the garda vehicle.

The officers who were in the patrol car were uninjured.

No arrests were made, but Garda investigations are continuing.
