'It was just chaos' - Record number on trolleys at Limerick Hospital

University Hospital Limerick today saw the highest number of patients on trolleys in any Irish hospital since the INMO started monitoring in 2006. Chaotic scenes at the hospital have resulted in patients sleeping on floors and staff members trying to look after as many as 25 patients at a time.

University Hospital Limerick today saw the highest number of patients on trolleys in any Irish hospital since the INMO started monitoring in 2006. Chaotic scenes at the hospital have resulted in patients sleeping on floors and staff members trying to look after as many as 25 patients at a time.
