While most of us have been brought up to believe that more exercise is the key to seeing the quickest and sustainable results, researchers from the University of Galway have just made a breakthrough that proves the opposite.

A study observing the body’s reaction to cycling exercises identified that short bursts of intense exercise was overall more beneficial to see long-term results and for one’s health.

Dr Enda Murphy, Research Associate at CÚRAM, University of Galway, joins Ciara to discuss.
