Kieran was joined on Friday's edition of The Hard Shoulder by Fr PJ Hughes, who has held masses in his parish despite the Level 5 restrictions.

He has two churches in Mullahoran, Co Cavan, which he believes are large enough to allow social distancing should parishioners wish to attend mass and receive communion.

He told Kieran why he's adamant that he should keep them open.
