Now… this new HSE Director General, Paul Reid, started this week - and he sounds like my kind of guy! He started on Tuesday by demanding an immediate review of ‘actions and timelines to bring about a financial break-even situation in the organisation and he wants it on his desk by next Friday.  In other words, he’s sending a clear message - stick to your budgets!
