Tánaiste Simon Harris has confirmed the Government is looking at an "appropriate intervention" to address rising fuel costs, which will be finalised at Cabinet meeting, which is on Tuesday.

Another fuel also being affected is aviation fuel, with the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz potentially seeing supply shortages.
