The Minister for Education Norma Foley has said she will bring a memo to Cabinet on Monday, which she says will facilitate the full reopening of schools.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said earlier on Newstalk Breakfast that the Government will be in a position "hopefully next week" to announce the full measures that will enable the country's schools to reopen in September.

We’ve heard for weeks, and even months now, that the objective of all stakeholders in education is that schools will open at the end of August or early September.

But how that will exactly happen is still not fully known.

Louise Bayliss is spokesperson for SPARK and told Ivan why she's concerned.
