A vigil was held this week outside St Vincent's Secondary School on the northside of Cork city today against any potential amalgamation with other schools in the area.

Save St Vincent's Secondary School, a newly formed group of parents and students, want the school to remain a single sex, all-girls school.

Aodhan O’Riordáin, Labour Spokesperson for Education and TD for Dublin Bay North and Barbara Ennis, Principal of Alexandra College, Milltown Dublin joined Kieran on the show.
