The HSE has launched its most ambitions Winter Plan for 2020-2021, costing €600m between now and April next year.

It aims to more than double the number of acute beds, shift as much care as possible into the community, create almost 5 million more home support hours among, and increase the staffing allocation across the service.

But is it achievable?

Kieran Cuddihy spoke to Anne O'Connor, Chief Operations Officer with the HSE to explain their plan
