Younger people in nursing homes have ’wasted lives’ . That’s the view of Ombudsman, Peter Tyndall. There are over 1,300 people under the age of 65 in nursing homes, many of whom say they had no option but to go into care due to lack of support from the State. The Ombudsman Peter Tyndall spoke to us this morning.
