The redeployment of speech and language therapists to help with coronavirus testing and tracing has created a backlog that will take years to clear. That’s according to the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists. Tens of thousands of children are now awaiting access to these services including five year old Dylan Ward who had his appointment cancelled in May. Dylan has been waiting almost two years to be seen and his mother Catríona joined Ciara on the show as well as Catherine Murphy TD.
