With Many Irish Citizens Still Left An Afghanistan Was Our Mission A Failure?

The UN Security Council has adopted a resolution requiring the Taliban to honour its commitment to let people freely leave Afghanistan.  The resolution says the council expects the Taliban to allow a "safe, secure, and orderly departure from Afghanistan of Afghans and all foreign nationals."   With many Irish citizens still left in Afghanistan, was our mission a failure?  Joining us on the show to discuss was Assistant Professor in International Relations and Director of the Centre for Conflict, Security and Terrorism at the University of Nottingham, Dr Edward Burke.
