Cabinet has approved plans for Government to pay up to 70 per cent of builders’ inflation-related construction costs.

Minister for Public Expenditure Michael McGrath said the scheme was needed to mitigate the risk of “significant losses” and to protect projects already in construction.

Paul Sheridan, Director of Main Contracting with the Construction Industry Federation spoke to Newstalk Breakfast this morning.
