The UK are set to build 7 controversial ‘Smart Motorways’ in an attempt to modernise their transport network. Ireland had a similar project to convert Dublin’s M50 into a ‘Variable Speed Limit Motorway’. Conor Faughnan Director of Consumer Affairs with the AA joined us on the show this morning.
