US President Donald Trump intensified his vilification of four female democratic politicians as “un-American” at a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday.

Trump singled out Ilhan Omar, a Somali refugee and one of the first two Muslim women to be elected to Congress, allowing a chant of "Send her Back" to grow.

Will this controversy stick and affect his 2020 chances or will it be forgotten like the many others?
