Some of the country’s most prominent property developers are opposing a proposal that five percent of all large-scale developments in Dublin be set aside for cultural spaces, arguing that such a measure would result in an “over-proliferation of this type of floor space”.  But are these spaces needed for the city to maintain its identity? To discuss, Shane was joined by Willie White, Member of the Arts, Culture and Recreation Strategic Policy Committee on Dublin City Council and Director of the Dublin Arts Festival.
