Today the ESRI publishes a report which has recorded the development of thousands of young children for the past couple of years.  The findings show the 9-years olds developmental outcomes in their physical health, socio-emotional wellbeing, and their attitudes and engagement with school were intrinsically linked with both gender and family circumstances. One of the authors of the report, Research Analyst at ESRI, Dr Desmond O’Mahony spoke to Ciara about their findings.
