US President Donald Trump has said his “success” in the middle east will help in negotiations to end in the war between Russia and Ukraine. He is due to meet with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House later today, and has announced a meeting with Vladimir Putin next week in Hungary.
