There were over 8,500 incidents of assaults on HSE staff in the line of work last year with almost half of these attacks were on nursing staff. That’s according to figures uncovered by Newstalk’s Eoghan Murphy. For more we heard from David Hughes, INMO Deputy General Secretary.
