It was a moment that shocked Irish journalism and indeed Irish life both north and south of the border, the murder on Holy Thursday 2019 of investigative journalist Lyra McKee during a riot in Creggan in Derry. The life of Lyra has been immortalised in a new documentary film called “Lyra” that was screened last night at the Cork Film Festival and I am joined now to discuss the film and indeed remember Lyra by her partner Sara Canning. Sara joined us this morning and told us more memories of Lyra.
