Prices for popular family holiday destinations have rocketed by up to 16pc at peak times.
Figures in today’s Irish Independent show popular sun holidays in the Canary Islands, Spain, and Portugal, which are significantly more expensive in July and August of this year compared to the same period pre-pandemic in 2019. Speaking to Shane this morning was Paul Hackett, president of the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA).
