The Government’s plan to house refugees in social homes comes under fire

Vacant social homes will be made available to house Ukrainian refugees and those on council waiting lists.  Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien will introduce the plan to Cabinet today, but it’s coming under fire from opposition and refugee advocates alike.   

Doireann Breathnach is Chair of the Irish Refugee Council and TD Cian O’Callaghan is Housing Spokesperson for the Social Democrats spoke to Newstalk Breakfast this morning.
