Former Lord Mayor of Dublin, Christy Burke has claimed that snobbery from local authorities is a major factor in blocking a more even spread of homeless accommodation.
Dublin 1 has 20 times the national average of people in emergency accommodation while some city suburbs like Terenure, Howth and Ballinteer have none at all.
Independent Councillor for Cabra and Glasnevin, Cieran Perry joins the programme to discuss.
