There was suggestion that Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly would bring proposals to Cabinet today to ban takeaway sales from pubs for the remainder of the Level 5 lockdown.

However, sources say Government are more likely to focus on enforcement of existing rules surrounding on street drinking including fines for gathering and drinking alcohol outside.

To discuss Ciara and Shane were joined by Colm Burke the Fine Gael TD for Cork North Central, and Fine Gael Spokesperson on Health and Johnny Keogan, Owner of Keogan’s pub in Nobber, Co. Meath.
