The economy will continue to grow strongly this year based on the performance of multinational companies in Ireland, yet households face the biggest drop in living standards since the 2008 crash that's according to a new report from the Economic and Social Research Institute.
John Fitzgerald, Adjunct Professor in Economics at Trinty College Dublin gave his research to the findings of the ESRI report.
