A secondary school in the East of the county is to close for 14 days following the first case of coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland.

The Department of Health said that staff and pupils at the school are being treated as close contacts of the first case that was detected here yesterday.

Dr Ronan Glynn, Deputy chief Medical Officer at the department of Health, joined Kieran Cuddihy on the show this morning to discuss this and how the health department is dealing with the outbreak
