“No Smartphone” Policy in Waterford primary schools

Waterford is to be the first county in Ireland where every primary school will ask parents not to give their children smartphones amid growing concern about their impact. So reported the Irish Examiner this morning. Brian Barron, Portlaw National School principal, explained this new charter set to be introduced in September.
