Ireland and the UK are to make a joint bid to host the 2030 Fifa World Cup. 

 In a statement with the football associations of Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales, the FAI said that hosting the event “would provide an incredible opportunity to deliver tangible benefits for our nations.” Jack Chambers, Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs and Sport talked to Shane.
