Is it fair that everyone pays a broadcasting charge? Should it be optional? Why should millennials pay the device tax so older generations can still watch RTÉ? Well, that is the strong view of Lorraine Courtney, Columnist for the Irish Independent. Lorraine believes that people who access tv programme’s and films on their devices should not have to pay the new ‘broadcasting charge’ that’s to be rolled out by Government in five years time. Breakfast were also joined by Willie O’Reilly, Columnist at the Sunday Business Post and Former Group Commercial Director at RTE, for a heated debate........
