The laws mandating facemasks to be worn in shops, public transport, and schools are expected to be dropped. NPHET meet later this week and is expected to replace the mandate with guidance urging people to continue wearing masks. Liam Fanning Professor of Immunovirology at UCC spoke to Ciara this morning.
