Less than one in nine GPs in Ireland are currently providing abortion services. That’s according to figures obtained by Newstalk through a Freedom of Information request. Our reporter Eoghan Murphy joined us this morning with more details and with reaction to these figures we heard from Alannah Ryan, Women’s Health Co-ordinator at the National Women’s Council of Ireland and Illona Duffy, Monaghan based GP.
