Cork has pulled out of the race to host one of sailing’s most prestigious events the America’s Cup in 2024. The government said the move was taken as a technical review found that the necessary infrastructural and planning arrangements would not be in place to host the event.

In reaction to this Newstalk Breakfast spoke to Thomas McHugh Corporate Affairs manager for Cork Chamber of Commerce.
