Nuclear power could become a good option for Ireland in years to come as a clean energy source if but only if safety and societal concerns are assuaged. That was the view of UCC’s Dr. Hannah Murphy speaking at an EPA event yesterday.  Dr. Paul Deane is  a Senior Researcher in Clean and Future Energies at UCC and he joined us this morning to discuss this.
