Will Ireland extradite Ian Bailey if he’s convicted of the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier ?

Cork based Englishman Ian Bailey is on trial in absentia in Paris this week for the murder of French woman Sophie Toscan du Plantier at her home in West Cork in December 1996.

Bailey was never convicted of the crime in Ireland, however as he told Virgin Media earlier this year, the journalist is convinced that the French courts will find him guilty.
