The Government has appointed former Minister Katherine Zappone to Special Envoy for Freedom of Opinion and Expression. Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe revealed Ms Zappone was hand-picked for the newly created taxpayer-funded position and admitted the role was not advertised. Brenda Power Columnist with the Sunday Times joined us on the show to tell us about this role.
