The EU is to ease restrictions for those fully vaccinated or from countries with positive epidemiological situations to be allowed travel. The changes could also see people from outside the bloc allowed travel for non essential reasons. As Ireland is not in the Schengen travel area it would not be bound by any final recommendation but could opt in to the rules. For more on this we were joined by Billy Kelleher Fianna Fail MEP.
