EMA To Make Final Decision On AstraZeneca Vaccine Today

Most people who have had COVID-19 are protected from catching it again for at least six months, but elderly patients are more prone to reinfection. The European Medicines Agency will announce their decision on the Astra Zeneca Vaccine today.  It’s use has been suspended in Eleven EU states including Ireland, after blood clotting concerns.  Paul Moynagh Professor of Immunology and Director of the Kathleen Lonsdale Institute for Human Health research at Maynooth University spoke to us this morning.
