Elderly people could be incentivised to downsize under the Government’s Housing for All plan set to be published next month.  Tax incentives and grants are some of the measures hoped to encourage “right-sizing”, freeing up larger homes for younger families.  To discuss further we heard from Karl Deeter, Founder of Onlineapplication.io and a financial adviser/analyst with Yes.ie.
